I am a female 18F brony (pegasister) and know exactly what pony this is referring to, and what episode to find it in. A brown pony with black and purple mane with its hind legs in wheels.
The creators at Hasbro have been amazing for fulfilling this child’s dream, and the show is amazing, I’ve been watching since age 12, and they stick in amazing references for fans of the show (like Rick and Morty pony hidden in an episode, the Big Lebowski, etc.) and god it was emotional when it ended in the November just gone by.
It breaks my heart to see the fandom bite the creators in the ass like this, and I hate reading about things like this because it’s only the negative things the media outside the fandom hears about. They never hear about when the things like when Hasbro took this opportunity, or when there was a young fan with cancer who got sent thousands of pictures of their pony by artists around the world. It’s only when we fuck up that people hear about it and depict us negatively. I hate when people in this community let the rest of us down to feed their desires, it’s sickening.
Being in a community about that’s meant to be about friendship is hard when everyone thinks all you do is look at animated horse porn.
(I should probably mention that I’m asexual here and don’t do that, in fact many of us don’t, but we’ll be forever pictured because of those who do, unfortunately.)
This is straight up wrong btw, don’t think I’m defending them. It just takes a few bad apples to spoil the batch.
